Tallow is rendered beef suet. The best tallow comes from the “leaf fat”, fat surrounding the kidneys and other internal organs, of a grass-fed cow. Properly rendered, the tallow does not have a residual beef smell. It is a time honored, natural product used as a nutrient-dense moisturizer. Highly biocompatible with the human body, the skin absorbs it effortlessly. It naturally contains oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and fat-soluble vitamins. Oleic acid is an omega 9 fatty acid which penetrates deeply to replenish lost moisture, balance skin oils, and protect the skin without clogging pores. Although palmitic acid decreases with age, tallow helps to compensate for the decrease to strengthen the skin. The naturally occurring stearic acid in tallow, not to be confused with commercially fractionated stearic acid or stearates, also helps protect the skin and prevent moisture loss. Finally, vitamins A, D, E, and K in tallow promote collagen production, improve elasticity and healing.

Our beef suet is locally sourced, double-home-rendered, and is as grass-fed and organic as possible.

All of our essential oils are indigenously grown, 100% undiluted, pure therapeutic grade essential oils. The growers and distillers use organic methods where GMOs or harmful chemicals are never used. Third party testing is performed for each batch using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) testing to ensure purity and potency of the oils.
